This course is suitable for those who attended the Basic IT Skills for Confidence Programme or have similar knowledge and would like to improve their skills.
You will gain knowledge in different aspects of using software: Internet and Safety - WiFi passwords, safety online, Internet for shopping, banking and social media. Outlook - attachments, creating and updating contacts, recognising phishing emails. Word - fonts, styles and borders, images, text boxes and shapes, managing files, creating tables, bullets and numbering. Excel - using formula, formatting content, charts. Teams - video calls, sharing documents, adding people to a Team.
200 (Free fundable course to those who meet the eligibility requirements) Free fundable programme for aged 19+ who are in receipt of benefit or on a low wage income and must have lived in the EU for the last three years. You must currently reside in England. Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor. There is no formal qualification or assessment.
